The restaurant's inviting atmosphere draws in locals and tourists alike, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling streets of the city. As one of the most beloved dining establishments in the area, it serves up a rich variety of dishes that are as delightful as the stories behind them.

The moment you step into Ristorante Delle Mitre, you’re greeted by the warm, welcoming ambiance that blends old-world charm with modern comfort. The decor of the restaurant pays homage to its location within Intramuros, one of Manila’s most historic districts. Inside, you'll find an elegant mix of classic design with a touch of Italian flair, making it the perfect spot for a casual lunch, a romantic dinner, or even a small family gathering. It’s a place that feels both timeless and cozy, with a menu that reflects the best of Filipino and Italian culinary traditions.

When it comes to the food, Ristorante Delle Mitre doesn't disappoint. Their menu offers an extensive range of dishes, from hearty Filipino favorites to classic Italian meals, providing something for every palate. One of the standout items is their Pasta al Pomodoro, a simple yet flavorful Italian pasta dish made with fresh tomatoes, basil, and extra virgin olive oil. It’s a perfect example of the restaurant’s dedication to quality ingredients and authentic flavors.

The Filipino dishes are equally impressive. The Kare-Kare, a traditional Filipino stew made with oxtail, tripe, and a rich peanut sauce, is an absolute must-try. The balance of flavors, with the slightly nutty and creamy sauce, combined with the tender meat, makes for a comforting meal. Additionally, their Sinigang na Baboy (pork sour soup) is a crowd favorite, perfectly balancing the tangy tamarind broth with tender pork and fresh vegetables.

For those looking to try something unique, Ristorante Delle Mitre also serves a fusion of Filipino and Italian dishes that combine the best of both worlds. Their Baked Lasagna with Longganisa is a perfect example. The savory Filipino sausage adds a unique twist to the classic lasagna, creating a delicious blend of flavors that’s both familiar and exciting.

As you dine, you can't help but feel the history of the location seeping into every aspect of the experience. Intramuros is known for its centuries-old buildings, cobblestone streets, and rich cultural heritage. The proximity of the restaurant to the San Agustin Church, a UNESCO World Heritage site, only adds to the charm. It’s a place where you can savor delicious food while being surrounded by the stories and history of Manila.

Ristorante Delle Mitre also excels in customer service. The staff are attentive and friendly, always ready to recommend a dish or explain the ingredients in the menu. This attention to detail makes every visit a pleasant experience. The restaurant’s cozy atmosphere, combined with the exceptional food and service, makes it one of the most reliable choices in the area.

Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor to Manila, dining at Ristorante Delle Mitre is an experience you’ll want to repeat. Its combination of flavorful dishes, historic location, and inviting atmosphere make it a standout in Intramuros. • Around the corner from San Agustin church is this gem. One of the best Filipino food I’ve been to. Traveling all over the Philippines and other countries. This is by far one of the best!!! Food dishes are amazing and very reasonable. The amount of food they give are enough to share with your companion. Staff are friendly even the Security Guard outside is so welcoming. I will definitely come back here with family and friends. I highly recommend this place if you’re craving Filipino cuisine.

  • I ordered tuyo supreme pasta, tiramisu, and iced mocha. Sobrang sulit ng servings and quality of food. The pasta was cooked the italian way, not Filipino style and I love it! 1 order of pasta is actually good for 2. The tiramisu also is a real one, not too sweet and I can definitely taste the rhum and coffee. Definitely a must eat restaurant infront of San Agustin Church. Highly recommended!

  • Came here for lunch. The place has a good atmosphere and theming which was centred around the clergy. The dishes are kinda pricy since this is around a tourist area but there are some rice meals. I ordered the gnocchi. My order arrived after 15 mins later. The gnocchi was chewy but still soft. The pasta looked handmade which was nice. The sauce was pretty good. The portions was kind off lacking considering the price. All in all the food was good but need more of it.

  • Ristorante delle Mitre offered a wide variety of European food with a Filipino twist which was very enjoyable and delicious. Also fair prices for the portions! The restaurant is located in the heart of Intramuros, next to Casa Manila, which makes it a perfect place to stock up on energy to continue exploring Intramuros.

  • After mass at San Agustin Church in Intramuros we dropped by Ristorante delle Mitre just across the street. The Kare-Kare was good and the Lechon Kawali was excellent, crisp on the outside and soft inside. The Baby Squid, which I expected to be served in olive oil, was instead battered and fried and turned out really good. The standout for me was the Sinigang. It is a familiar Filipino dish but theirs had something that just made it very good. Hard to explain but it hit the spot. Worth dropping by if you are in the area.

  • Prime location, right within Intramuros, within walking distance of the Fort Santiago and right next to Saint Augustin church. Overall positive experience, good food, nice and quick service and interesting decor. The pricing doesn’t seem expensive but portions are small so your bill might rack up. P/S: Green mango smoothie is extremely sour.

  • Their food is great, many choices, clean and neat place to eat with your family or fiends. Their menu booklet needs improvement, its made of xerox copy pages that are flimsy and outdated.
